Fox News. We decieve, you believe

18 Jul

DSCN4732There was a woman on Fox News who said with straight faced, wild eyed hysteria that Al Qaeda has the technological capability to hack into an automobiles computer system and cause the car to crash. Her solution was to buy a car manufactured in the 1960’s or become Amish and get around by horse and buggy. Has anyone ever watched Banshee on Cinemax? The Amish are portrayed as a murderous sort.  Self serving and isolated.  I should elaborate but I have to fit the antennas onto my tin foil hats. I need several because of the radio waves and my shifting locations on planet earth. I’m terrified that the mechanical connection between the steering gear and my hands could  be hijacked by a come to life DME. I guess in this case The Police had a crystal ball when they wrote Ghost in the Machine and as much as I love their music, the implication is scary. I’m going to hide under my bed and turn on MSNBC. With a flashlight and my cats to calm my fear.

Thank Heavens for the “masterpieces” of car manufacturers of decades gone by. I know where you will find me, and it won’t be under the bed!

Yeah, I know your kind. It will be in it! Or in the masterpiece with a bemused smile on your face.
